Georgina Phua
Deputy Principal (Development) @ Singapore Polytechnic
Ms. Georgina Phua is the Deputy Principal (Development) at Singapore Polytechnic (SP), where she spearheads the institution's mission to be a Polytechnic for all ages through strategic collaborations with industry partners and agencies. She oversees the Department of Industry & Partnership, Technology, Innovation & Enterprise, and the Professional and Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy. These three units include 12 consultancy and technology innovation centres and the CET arm, providing comprehensive solutions to support enterprise and workforce transformation. Additionally, Ms. Phua oversees Singapore Polytechnic International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SP that drives SP’s internationalisation efforts.
Ms. Phua also holds the position of Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Green Building Council and serves on the Board of Arts House Limited.
With over 20 years of experience managing educational institutions covering business, IT, media and design, architecture, and the built environment, Ms. Phua brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Before her tenure in academia, she gained valuable experience in the IT and banking industries.
