Larry Yeung
Executive Director @ Participate in Design (P!D)
Larry is a designer and community organizer who strongly advocates for a participatory and community-centric approach to the design and planning of cities and neighborhoods. With a background in architectural design and project management in Singapore, he is currently the Executive Director of Participate in Design (P!D).
Since earning his Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Larry’s portfolio of participatory-based work has grown to encompass neighborhood planning, public space design, and community art installations. He has collaborated with grassroots organizations, educational institutions, civic groups, and government agencies. Larry's accolades include being recognized as a World Cities Summit Young Leader in 2021—an award that honors change-makers across diverse sectors who have helped shape the global urban agenda—and the NUS-CDE Outstanding Young Alumni Award in 2023, which acknowledges alumni under 40 who have distinguished themselves in their chosen fields.
Larry is also a recipient of the BCA-CPG Industrial Scholarship Award and the URA Urban Design Prize in 2014.
In addition to his work at P!D, Larry has been a member of the CSC-MCCY Partnerships and Engagement Experts Panel since November 2022, where he consults with public agencies in Singapore on their citizen and stakeholder engagement projects.
